Beverly Moore

Mrs. Moore was born in San Mateo, CA and grew up all over California, settling her senior year of high school in Spokane, WA.  She pursued three years of undergraduate work at Holy Names College and Gonzaga University, interrupted by marriage to a Navy musician.  After the birth of her son and daughter, she attended University of Washington to complete BA-BM degrees in Piano Performance, as well as an MA in Music Theory.  In addition to over twenty-five years teaching private piano lessons to adults and children, including work as an instructor in piano and music history at Edmonds Community College, Ms. Moore is an accomplished background, musical theatre, and piano lounge musician.  Ms. Moore came to Waldorf education late in her career and finds pedagogical eurythmy to be a wonderful fit for her deep connection with classical piano, her improvisational skills, and a keen interest in child development.  Mrs. Moore joined TCWS in 2007.
