Maggie Reilly

Mrs. Reilly grew up in Arkansas and gained a love of the outdoors by playing in the woods with her sisters and spending time camping.  She met her husband while attending college in Arkansas and knew from an early age that she was called to be a teacher.  While living in New Mexico, she learned about Waldorf education from a college professor and thereafter  spent time working in various childcare settings, substitute taught in a Reggio Emilia school, and observed in Waldorf kindergartens across the country.  After moving to New Jersey, Maggie received a B.A. in Sociology and Child Development from Thomas Edison College.  She taught pre-school until her son’s birth and then became a kindergarten assistant when he was old enough to attend nursery class at the Waldorf School of Princeton.  She began Waldorf Teacher Training at Sunbridge College, where she completed her Waldorf Teaching Certificate and a Master of Science in Education.  Mrs. Reilly relocated to the Pacific Northwest last year and enjoy the many outdoor opportunities for camping and hiking in the area.  Mrs. Reilly is a co-teacher in the Morning Glory Kindergarten since 2006.
