Amie HoffMiss Hoff is a Washington state native who grew up in the  Goodenough Community, attending the Seattle Waldorf School from pre-school through eighth grade.  As a former Waldorf student herself, she can speak confidently of the benefits and approach to this form of education.  Miss Hoff obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University and once taught After Care at Three Cedars as a young college graduate!  Her experience at Three Cedars and other early childhood programs during high school and college inspired her to pursue a career in Waldorf teaching.  Her work experience also includes positions as a summer camp counselor, teacher, and director; an alumni outreach co-ordinator at the former Emerson College, UK; and a pre-school teacher at the Waldorf-inspired Tara’s Tots in Seattle.  Miss Hoff completed the Waldorf teacher training and storytelling training at Emerson College, where she enjoyed cooking and organizing for events and community-wide festivals.  During her time in Europe she took many opportunities to travel and especially enjoyed two trips to Israel to participate in the Healing Words Festival, an initiative using storytelling to create dialogue between the people of Israel and Palestine. All together, Miss Hoff has been working with children for over fifteen years, and her interests include festivals, cooking and baking, nutrition, travel, hiking, fiber arts, singing, and puppetry.  Miss Hoff has been teaching at TCWS since 2010.
