Jackie RalstonMrs. Ralston was born in Santa Ana, CA and moved to Joyce, WA when she was five years old.  She spent the next four years on a hundred acre farm with two ponds, two creeks, a herd of cows, and seventeen horses, and two sets of grandparents before her parents moved to Port Angeles when she was nine.  She then experienced life in a small town, surrounded by loggers and fisher folk, before moving to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University.  She met her husband and the Ba’hai faith there, then relocated to the Eastside where she has lived for the last twenty-three years.  Her work experience has included bookkeeping, preschool teaching, parent-tot playgroup teaching, serving as the assistant director at a child care center, and twenty total years as a nanny.  Mrs. Ralston completed her foundation year with Bill Bryant in Tacoma and her two children have attended Waldorf schools from grades 1-11 and preschool through grade 2, so far.  Her interests include knitting, reading, basket making, philosophy and spirituality, human development and group consultation.  This is Mrs. Ralston’s eleventh year of association with Three Cedars and her second year as our lead after school care teacher.
