Three Cedars is more than a school: it is a community of parents and professional who share a passion for meaningful relationships, a commitment to a peaceful future, and a dedication to children. Community is a cornerstone of life at Three Cedars. Through the organization and experience of festivals and events, Parent Association activities, and engagement in classrooms, we offer a multitude of opportunities to engage in co-creating a vibrant social circle around the students, and a ‘village’ for our families.

Parent Association

The Parent Association is an essential element of community life at Three Cedars Waldorf School. It is a place of initiative and support where all parents are welcome to bring projects and ideas for enhancement of the school community. Launched in earnest in the fall of 2011, the Parent Association has already initiated an Adult Education program and a Professional Directory, with both projects slated to be operational in the fall of 2012.

Vision - TCWS Parent Association embraces the vision of an engaged and valued parent body in service of the school’s mission. The mission of TCWS Parent Association is to design, hold, and facilitate the effective participation of parents in the unfolding of the school’s mission.

Core Values - The Parent Association is committed to generating, welcoming, and honoring parents’ participation in the life of the school, and to working in synergy with the underlying principles of Waldorf Education as expressed in the school’s Strategic Plan.
