A few days ago the kindergarten children decided to create an obstacle course during outside playtime. They had to help each other drag, roll or carry the heavy log sections and boards to construct their creation. There was much discussion from the 6-year-olds on the exact design. After it was done everyone got a chance to walk over it. This is a wonderful example of how young children can work together and use their imaginations to create something to play with out of natural materials.
