Grade School News

On November 2nd and 9th, the TCWS Eighth Grade visited Seattle Waldorf  High School for two drumming workshops. SWHS is fortunate to have long time drummer Gordy Ryan, who has worked with the likes of Carlos Santana, on their staff. Gordy's warmth, and extensive knowledge of the culture associated with each drum, drew our students immediately in to the class. With only two sessions, Gordy brought several rhythms and created a musical experience not often achieved so quickly. We are grateful to SWHS for this invitation and for the hospitality with which we were so well received!
